Connor Hoagland serves as Vice President and Regional Director of Operations for United Collegiate Umpires (UCU). In this senior leadership role, he supports the organization’s assigning, coordination, recruitment, evaluation, mentorship, and development of collegiate baseball umpires throughout Upstate New York and New England. Hoagland also collaboratively oversees umpire assignments and coordination across several premier summer collegiate baseball leagues, including the Cape Cod Baseball League (CCBL), New England Collegiate Baseball League (NECBL), MLB Draft League, Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League (PGCBL), and New York Collegiate Baseball League (NYCBL).
An accomplished NCAA Division I umpire, Hoagland has officiated multiple NCAA Division I Regional Championships and received several Division I conference tournament assignments. He has also served as an instructor and evaluator at United Umpires camps for the past five years. His experience as both an active on-field umpire and administrator enables him to effectively balance the needs of conference partners with the development and advancement of officials. Through this dual perspective, Hoagland helps ensure UCU delivers exceptional service while building and maintaining a strong, sustainable pipeline of officiating talent.
