Founded in 2014, United Collegiate Umpires (UCU) is dedicated to advancing the standard of NCAA baseball officiating through education, accountability, and professional development.
Founded in 2019, United Travel Umpires (UTU) provides professional officiating services for travel and tournament baseball nationwide.
Founded in 2022, United Tri-State Umpires (UTS) serves amateur baseball organizations throughout the Tri-State region (NJ, NY, and PA) providing trained, accountable umpires upholding the values of professionalism, consistency, and integrity.
United Umpires provide the most advanced umpire training camps for non-professional umpires in the country – our camps are geared to teaching the skills required for NCAA Conference level games.
United Umpires Camp Curriculum
Our clinics offer a deep dive into the technical and philosophical aspects of the craft. We provide specialized instruction for two, three, and four-umpire systems, ensuring officials are versatile and prepared for any assignment. The core curriculum includes:
- Classroom & Theory: In-depth discussions on NCAA Rules, CAA Mechanics, and the Philosophy of Plate and Base Work.
- Technical Mastery: Focused training on the Strike Zone, Communication, and Handling Situations.
- Live Evaluation: Students are assigned actual live game assignments, where they receive immediate, actionable evaluations of their on-field performance.
- Tailored Progression: To ensure a positive and productive experience, students are grouped based on their specific experience levels and previous camp history.
Elite Instruction & Schedule
Our staff is comprised of NCAA Coordinators and premier professional and collegiate umpires. These instructors are dedicated to sharing the exact techniques that have led to their success at the highest levels of the game.
Training opportunities are available throughout the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, and Midwest.
