A Las Vegas native with over 25 years of experience in the game, Drew transitioned from a collegiate playing career and a decade of coaching at Las Vegas High School to becoming a cornerstone of the local officiating community. Since 2011, he has built a diverse umpiring portfolio ranging from youth leagues to MLB Spring Training backfields and ACCAC junior college games.
In October 2024, Drew partnered with Alberto Ruiz and United Umpires to launch United Vegas. As Managing Director, he is dedicated to professionalizing the region’s officiating through:
- Advanced Field Training: Implementing elite-level mechanics for local officials.
- Continuous Education: Leading bi-weekly meetings to sharpen rule knowledge and game management.
- Mentorship: Building a bridge for aspiring umpires to reach the collegiate and professional ranks.
Residing in Las Vegas with his wife, Crystal, Drew remains driven by a mission to elevate the standards of the local baseball community and give back to the game that shaped his career.
