Who Should Attend
These clinics are designed for umpires looking to move up to varsity high school through all levels of 2-umpire collegiate baseball.
Tentative Schedule
Our clinics begin with classroom instruction on the first day/evening. We then follow up the next day with an all day on-field instruction and drills. Live evaluation games are held the final two days of the clinic.
Cortland, NY 2-Umpire
- Thursday, September 24: Classroom (12 pm)
- Friday, September 25: On Field Instruction & Drills (Typically begins at 8 am)
- Saturday-Sunday, September 26–27: Live Evaluation Games (Varies Day & Evening)
Southern NJ 2-Umpire Evaluation
- Friday, October 16: Classroom (6 pm)
- Saturday-Sunday, October 17-18: Live Evaluation Games (Varies Day & Evening)

Our 2-Umpire clinics are designed for and any umpire desiring to seek their highest level. If you are beginning or have a few years of experience in the 2-umpire system; this clinic establishes the foundation you need – developing the individual umpire’s skills, improving muscle memory, and creating a passion for continued learning on how to become the best at this unique craft.
Instructors
Our staff comprises former and current professional umpires and postseason-caliber collegiate umpires. Division I and III umpire assignors will be in attendance, working with umpires to elevate their game.
You'll be learning from umpires who have been in your shoes! These umpires are dedicated to sharing the skills and techniques that have made them successful at the game's highest levels.
Clinic Locations
Our current 2-Umpire clinics offered:
- Cortland, NY (Location TBD), Thursday, September 24 through Sunday, September 27.
- Southern New Jersey (Location TBD), Friday, October 16 through Sunday, October 18. (Evaluation Only with possible class on Friday evening.)
More specific locations and information will be provided to approved registrants.
Travel Planning Information
Umpires are on their own for all transportation and lodging accommodations. Umpires should only plan on leaving their clinic after 4:00 pm on the last day of their respective clinic. Once you're accepted, please wait to book a flight home on the last day of the clinic, departing after 6:30 pm.
Only book non-refundable travel after you are approved!
Registrations are limited!
We have limited spots for our 2-Umpire clinics. We have a maximum of 40 spots available at each clinic. Registration will remain open until full (or one week before the respective clinic).
All registrations are subject to assignor approval. If not approved, any monies paid will be refunded.

Our 2-Umpire Clinic in Cortland, NY is only $249! The United Umpires 2-Umpire Evaluation in October is $75.
Our tuition Includes all umpire development and educational activities – classroom, on-field drills, cage, and live evaluation games with video review (if available).
Tuition does not include any lodging accommodations. Umpires are responsible for travel and personal expenses.
