NECBL 2019 Umpire of Year Announced
Mahwah, NJ – August 8, 2019 – Tony Letizio (Berlin, CT) has been named the New England Collegiate Baseball League (NECBL) 2019 Umpire of the Year as selected by the league’s coaches, administrators and commissioner’s office.
UCU Executive VP, Alex Skandalis, who coordinates the collegiate summer league, believes Tony’s recognition is well-deserved:
“I am extremely pleased with the NECBL’s choice for Umpire of the Year. I have known Tony for close to 10 years and am proud of his development as an umpire, culminating with this prestigious award which I know he will appreciate.
