Love it! Great field presence. Love the strike call!
Too much Chit-Chat with the Partner. Base Ump should be somewhere in the Outfield, not running in every inning to share jokes.

I'm not a baseball official, but I see many things in this video to take to other sports that makes us better. Thanks for sharing.
good stuff! I was hoping to see a PUNCH OUT.
More of this, please!
Love working with Mike. Solid guy all around.
Love the interaction with players, I think that is a positive thing. Friendly but not overly talkative.
Great video
Strong work!
Cool as a cucumber back there. Love how communicative he is. Great video lots to take out of it!
I played for Wareham in 1977 and the Cape Cod league played the All Star game at Fenway Park.
I dig the easy interaction with the players and the ball girl, very approachable and a good ambassador for the profession. Also like the kind of modified Davis stance he’s working with. Would love to see that watch off the wrist and the mask in the left hand, but definitely a quality dude who’s doing a great job.
DAMN IT… he’s making me want to work. LOVE how quiet your body is, sir, and you never EVER make anyone wait for you, you’re ready at all points, never losing eyeline on what is happening. I also have to occasionally remove that damned pine tar/rosin off my paws between pitches. Just a pro’s pro.
If you love "pure" baseball attend one of these games! Baseball like it was meant to be! Wooden bats too!
Umpired baseball for many years. Me and the catchers normally talked about many things behind the plate. Normally hunting and fishing
Mike is a very polished umpire and one of the best I have ever worked with....loves to show off his gun after foul balls ...I call him...."Mike the Hose ......Hinojosa " and does a great job taking care of his fields as the field superintendant in the city of Revere.
just asking, on the ground ball did he take his mask off with his right hand and transfer it to his left hand?
How about the catching mechanics? Eek!
That's a LOUD indicator.
This official loves his job.
Oliver Mackson
Jason Heckel does #2 batter look and his name sound familiar??
Hank Church
I thought when he said he'd take two, I thought he was talking about a double-double.
Although he’s wearing a watch and takes his mask off with his right hand he still looks solid
