Alex, In addition to being a vital member of our instructor staff, works extensively on the planning and organization of our clinics.
While still a student at Boston College, became the youngest college baseball umpire in the country and subsequently graduated with honors from the Jim Evans Academy of Professional Umpiring. Instead of pursuing a professional umpiring career, in 2007, Alex co-founded the New Jersey Sports Assigning Bureau (NJSAB), the largest sports assigning organization in the state. Directed and implemented the NJSAB umpire training program and serves as Chief Instructor at annual clinics.
Alex was selected to his first Division I NCAA Regional in 2017.
In 2015, Alex worked the Division III College World Series in Appleton, WI. His other post-season assignments included: Four Division I conference tournaments, The Junior College World Series, Five Division III Regionals, and eight Division III conference tournaments.
